The purpose and functions of this unit are as follows:

Act as integral AV consultants for all new campus and center construction projects
Supply project management on contracted AV system installations
Evaluate new AV technologies for relevant application to the mission of the University
Design and install clasroom media systems from full interactive Distance Ed to simple classroom enhancements
Maintain all AV systems and related equipment on campus and some centers
Assist faculty and staff by providing training in the use of classroom media equipment
