CWU Faculty-led program in French language and culture, France - Summer Programs

Location

The fourth capital of Bearn, Pau is the most elegant of the towns and cities overlooking the Pyrenees. The city is located on the high bluffs that run parallel with the mountains. Pau is conveniently located an hour away from the Basque country and the Atlantic coast, half an hour from the mountains, and close to the region of Bordeaux. Pau offers all the amenities of a modern city, but retains its sense of history with its old district castles, quaint shops and cobbled streets.
